CINEMATIC FUN
Before transitioning into an Art Director role, I specialized in in-game and pre-rendered cinematography for video games for about 15 years—most notably on the Mortal Kombat and Injustice series. All projects created using Unreal tool pipelines
I've always had a passion for storytelling and video editing. As a cinematic artist, I had the opportunity to bring stories to life through thoughtful camera work, editing, and set dressing.
The reels above showcases some of my work on the games I contributed to in this role.
Mortal Kombat 11: Most recent
I served as both the cinematographer and primary point of contact for the Fatality feature, while also supporting the Story Mode team with in-game cinematics.
As the lead for Fatalities, I collaborated across disciplines to shape a high-quality, visceral experience, designed to enthrall, disgust, and entertain longtime fans. My responsibilities included directing, shooting, and editing the sequences using MotionBuilder and Unreal Engine.
By the end of my time at the studio, I had earned the nickname “Fatality Queen” a title I wear with pride. A tremendous amount of hard work and collaboration went into the feature, and I was fortunate to work alongside an incredibly talented team of artists. It was truly a pleasure to contribute to something so iconic with such a top-tier group.
